Immune System in Providing Defense

The human body possesses different systems performing various imperative functions in the body. These systems maintain the functions of the body inside with respect to the external environment. The immune system of the human is present for the purpose to provide the protection  from the attack of various pathogenic organisms. The immune system plays different roles according  to the nature of a disease, person`s susceptibility to the infection as well as the nature of the  microbial or pathogenic organism. The immune system provides protection by the complex network comprised of organs, tissues and cells against the attack of foreign invaders encompassing fungi, parasites, bacteria and virus.   The body of human being provides the favorable environment to grow by destroying the normal physiology of the body.

             Immune System

Immune system involves in failing the attack of such microbes and destroys them upon recognizing.  When the foreign invaders enter the human body, the immune system induces the defense mechanisms, which are functions of immune response and immunological system. Such mechanism produces the resistance in the body against the microbes in the host body. This type of resistance is known as the acquired immunity, which further divides into two types the active and passive immunity. In case of active immunity persist for the long period, for several years, and generates immunity response by producing the immunoreactive lymphocytes or antibodies in the host body. The host body produces its own antibodies in the response of the microbial agent causing infection.   On the other hand, passive immunity involves the administration of the antibodies or immune factors from the body of other animal produced in an active response in that particular animal due to any microbe, for example, the transference of antibodies to the baby from the mother through breast milk.

person with Immune Deficiency

The persons with immune deficiency are at higher risks  to get the infections, as the normal immune response inside the body could not produce. The immunodeficiency occurs due to certain factors or affected constituents of the immune system. Different abnormal defense produce in body with respect to the effects on spleen, neutorphil granulocytes, T cells, antibodies and B cells. The body cannot produce the resistance against the pathogenic microbes due to which recurrence of infections occurs.   The mimune system is the vital system of the body that helps to provide the protection against all types of microbes that include parasites, fungi, bacteria and viruses. It generates the response via acquired immunity. Individuals with weak immune system are prone to suffer from the severe infections as the body cannot produce the resistance against the pathogenic microbes and cannot kill them.
